Sneaker vultures tried to inflate the culture

So you mean to tell me you know

Nothing of the culture

Just to pesticide & intervene?

These shoes have stories

Different walks & pathways

That lead you to victory

It’s not a coincidence

You don’t take our stories seriously

Allow it to marinate, resonant

Let the message massage the brain please

These aren’t just sneakers, but storytellers

Walking narrative figures

If you can’t respect the culture, learn the culture— I’m speaking on black stories

Hang up them laces please

Them threes still will get us pulled over gunned down in the streets

Did you know that brother story?

‘In shoes we trust’

Black history is a must

To the highest court in the land

You’ll feel us soon enough

Grandma’s house

Let’s go back to grandmas house

Where we eat soul food and collard greens

The one that made sure my soul was fed

Spiritually and freely grandma fed me

Organize, organize can i talk my stuff

And speak freely

I’m a revolutionary my ancestor seen it in me

It’s time we plan, sit in the kitchen

Where grandma hands work tirelessly

To feed me, with collard greens

Leafy & green strong and mighty

Just as God intended for me

I know Grandma is watching over me

Blessings keep me and my family
